The role

As a Software Project Manager, you take pride in delivering high quality software projects within time and scope, with a real focus on client/customer satisfaction.  From planning to release phase, you effectively coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure projects align with the business objectives.

You are organised, inquisitive and collaborative with a strong attention to detail, setting and managing project timelines, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Please note: This position is a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract.

Key responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution – Define timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with customer goals.
  • Team Coordination & Leadership – Lead cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and foster collaboration to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Risk & Issue Management – Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address project challenges.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and changes.
  • Resource Management – Allocate resources effectively while maintaining quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance – Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, industry regulations, and company policies.

 

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or Project Management
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management or Scrum Master certification (Desirable)
  • Proven experience within project management, leadership, and stakeholder communication
  • Strong understanding of risk management and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • A solid understanding of SaaS Project Delivery
  • Demonstrable knowledge of budgeting, resource management, and project tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Asana)
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end software projects with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience managing vendors, external partners, and executive stakeholders

This position is mostly remote, but will require some travel to our Support Centre office in Redditch, West Midlands.
