We're looking for a Digital Learning Designer to join our dynamic Skills Development team, reporting to the Group Learning & Development Manager.
In this role, you’ll design and develop innovative learning solutions that equip our colleagues with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive across the One Halfords Family. You'll have the chance to shape engaging content, enhance existing programmes, and recommend fresh approaches that truly make a difference.
With a focus on choosing the best formats to deliver training effectively, you’ll play a key role in our continuous learning journey.

Scope, develop, and design a range of engaging training solutions including eLearning, eBriefs, podcasts, interactive PDFs, and video content, all aligned to business objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Maintain a strong customer focus by understanding colleague needs, challenges, and constraints, and using this insight to inform decisions.

Stay up to date with the latest tools, trends, and best practices in learning design, sharing knowledge to drive continuous improvement across the team.

Ensure all content meets quality, legal, and compliance standards, with keen attention to detail throughout the development process.

Skilled in using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, and Adobe Creative Cloud, with a flair for writing storyboards and scripts that bring content to life.

Strong understanding of instructional design models, adult learning principles, and blended learning approaches to support skills, knowledge, and behavioural development.

Analytical and creative, able to research, design, and deliver impactful learning solutions that are both personalised and insight-driven.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and organised—with a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping people learn and grow.
