The role
As an Information Architect, you're passionate about the accuracy and integrity of our architectural data and repositories, recognising that a solid data foundation is crucial for successful IT services and informed technology decision-making. You’ll excel at proactively managing our extensive application landscape and are driven to continuously improve processes, artefacts, and data quality.
You'll be a proactive relationship builder, keen to engage with stakeholders across all business areas and collaborate closely with others within the Architecture team. Your goal will be to ensure data consistency, strategic alignment, and that change is delivered effectively. You'll also champion the importance of high-quality data, educating the wider business on why maintaining accurate information is vital.

Key responsibilities
You'll lead the ongoing assessment and classification of our application landscape (TIME & TIER), ensuring tools are aligned with business needs and technology strategy.
Drive the effective use and governance of our Enterprise Architecture tool, making sure all architectural views and data are reliable.
Optimise how we capture and access technical knowledge, making it easy for teams to find and use critical information.
Maintain high standards for architectural artifact creation, ensuring quality and compliance across the board.
Champion best practices in information architecture, implementing smart metadata standards and leading continuous improvements in how we manage knowledge.
About you
A strong understanding of IT systems and their crucial role within a large-scale commercial business.
Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture tools and frameworks (like meta models and capability models).
Solid knowledge of collaboration platforms such as Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, and ServiceNow.
Excellent written communication and visual design skills for creating high-quality documentation and templates.
Strong ability to effectively engage and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
A highly collaborative and true team player.
Proactive with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.
Detail-oriented and quality-driven, ensuring precision in your work.
Comfortable working at pace, consistently delivering to deadlines, and stable under pressure.
