Job Purpose

We have a number of exciting, innovative projects lined up and we’re looking for a motivated Business Change Manager to join the Transformation Office and take the lead on transition management to successfully prepare the business for change to new ways of working.

The Transformation Office ensures that project and programme work aligns to the Group corporate strategy and coordinates the planning, monitoring and execution of project and programme delivery through the establishment of an appropriate governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on transition management, ensuring that business as usual is maintained during strategic transition and the changes are effectively integrated into the business including preparing affected business areas for change to new ways of working
  • Conduct change impact assessments to optimise the timing of the release of project deliverables into business operations
  • Work closely with the Learning & Development team and Product Owners to analyse training needs to help drive consistency and identify the best approach for implementing new systems and processes ensuring that refresher training is scheduled where appropriate and imbedded into inductions to keep alive
  • Work with Product Owners to create robust communication plans to support the delivery of new systems and processes and effectively communicate the change to minimise disruption
  • Maintain feedback between the IT Delivery Managers/IT PMO/Product Owners and the Transformation Office so that business change plans are accurate and communication channels are open
  • Work with Colleague Engagement and People Champions to support the overall communication strategy

Key Skills/Experience

  • Have a solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally at all levels
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Have the confidence to challenge in order to get results
  • Be resilient and have the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Possess the ability to thrive in a fast paced pressurised environment
  • Experience of working cross-functionality
